Rethink is a charity and remains unbiased towards any political party.

I care about MI tshirt The UK holds a General Election in Spring 2010 and hundreds of new MPs will be elected to Parliament. They must understand what needs to change for people affected by mental illness. Rethink wants the new Government to:

  • tackle stigma and discrimination,
  • provide better access to services and
  • to give fairer treatment to those in the criminal justice system.

This will only happen if enough people show they want a better life for everyone affected by mental illness. Your voice really counts, so please support us.

Latest news: we now have over 4,600 signatures - thank you for signing! Please help us to reach our 10,000 target by telling everyone you know about www.rethink.org/petition

Hold a Rethink Question Time

Run your very own 'Question Time' event, where service users and carers quiz a panel of  local candidates about  mental health issues. This is a great opportunity to ask what your candidates would do for mental health if elected, offering you a chance to gather commitments to hold your MP to when they get into power!

To order your pack, email now quoting 'Rethink Question Time'. Alternatively, call Claire West on 020 7840 3153 for a copy to be emailed or posted to you.
